The GM Foundation is a non-profit charity organisation and a registered Public Benefit Organisation according to Section 18A of the Income Tax Act. This means that all financial donations, including goods in kind, are tax exempt for South African donors. We can issue you with a Section 18A donation receipt which you can use for tax purposes, when you make a donation.

There are various fundraising platforms which make raising money in a safe way, really easy for both you – the fundraiser – and your friends, family and colleagues who want to sponsor you. Create your own profile, set your fundraising target, and tell the world! If you don’t know much about reputable fundraising sites such as GivenGain and BackaBuddy, email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will help you through it. It’s really easy!
If you would like to volunteer at one of our projects and assist with the education, sports and other Programmes, you need to first ask yourself the following:
- Am I available, one day a week (Monday to Thursday)?
- Can I commit to being at a project at the same time and same venue every week for at least three months?
